2004-2005 & 2007-2009
Client: National Trust, Willunga Branch (SA)
I researched and wrote the interpretive panels for the Willunga Slate Museum. An audio installation features in stage 2 of the project, and I wrote the actors’ scripts. The scripts were written using information from diaries, newspaper records and oral history interviews. The Slate Museum complex encourages visitors to learn about the industrial, social and Cornish heritage of the slate industry, and then to explore it further by walking or driving around Willunga township.
This project was awarded the Built Heritage Conservation Award (Telling Stories) from Onkaparinga Council.
