2020-2021
Client: Oral History Australia SA/NT
Oral History Australia SA/NT commissioned a series of interviews with past presidents of the Association, in recognition of the Association’s 40th anniversary. I was honoured to be asked by former president Beth Robertson to interview her for the project. Beth is one of the most highly regarded oral historians in Australia, having written the Oral History Handbook (now in its fifth edition, with more than 16 000 copies sold), established the JD Somerville Oral History Collection at the State Library of South Australia, and been awarded the inaugural Hazel de Berg Award from Oral History Australia and life membership, amongst many other achievements. The interview is available at the State Library, OH 1168/5.
