Client: Rural City of Murray Bridge, subconsultant for Quentin Gore Design.
The Rural City of Murray Bridge has a rich and diverse natural and cultural heritage. I distilled the natural and cultural heritage into a set of seven interpretive themes that collectively tell the story of Murray Bridge: its past, present and future. They define the city and its sense of place. A strategy report was prepared that described how the seven interpretive themes can underpin council planning, and proposed mechanisms for the communication and interpretation of these themes to the Murray Bridge community and visitors: from interpretive signs and public art, to events, landscaping, public infrastructure and playgrounds.
