Client: Department of Manufacturing, Innovation, Trade, Resources and Energy (DMITRE)(SA), subconsultant for Martins Integrated (now Martins Brand House)
I prepared a report on the natural, agricultural, social and industrial history of the Tonsley Park site, and undertook filmed interviews with people associated with the site to produce a video (in collaboration with Daylight Breaks). Eight themes were identified that summarise the history of Tonsley Park. Recommendations were made to DMITRE on ways that these historic themes can be incorporated into the new development through a variety of media such as: information centre, creek restoration and landscaping, public art; heritage trails; exhibitions; website and digital media.
